In my work as a coach for managers, I combine 20 years of my own management experience with a broad systemic range of training. My forms of counseling are primarily about making a goal-oriented and autonomous change of perspective possible for clients and thus getting new clarity.

In order to be able to ask the right goal and solution-oriented questions, in addition to empathy with the person, you need a professional distance to the perceived problem - even if a portion of humor may subtly shine through in the right places. In addition to absolute confidentiality, the change between different views is just as important to me in the coaching process as a concrete reference to practice and results. Especially in sparring with senior executives, ideas can be played through in a protected space and can be illuminated from all sides without any interest in the matter itself.

In the development support of individual managers, teams and organizations, I can fall back on my own management experience as managing director and supervisory board member in international corporations, several years of coaching training at university level as well as a number of additional qualifications (e.g. business mediator registered with the BMJ, ISO 17024 -Certification or an intensive study of the complex phenomenon of corporate culture - publisher of the book "Unternehmenskultur in der Praxis" - will be published in 2018 by SpringerGabler-Verlag).

It begins with the first contact in which the framework conditions are clarified. Depending on the specific situation, the clarification of intent and the development of concerns, goals and orders for the current meeting can follow immediately. In the implementation of the respective coaching units, the clients are seen as content experts who already have all the solutions in them (although not visible on the surface) and the coach as the person responsible for the process. The methods and tools vary depending on the occasion and are the responsibility of the coach. The number of counseling units is determined in cooperation with the clients, whereby each unit is structured in such a way that it could also be the first and the last. Depending on the situation, the clients also receive “homework”, which should be given special attention to until the next session.
